Qerhet

see Kerhet

This is not a separate goddess

Qerhet and Kerhet are the same deity. Budge writes her Kerhet, feminine counterpart of Kerh in the fourth pair of the Ogdoad of Hermopolis, and the researched entry is kerhet.

The census carried her again as Qerhet, described as "goddess of the eighth nome of Lower Egypt" — a description that does not appear in any archived source and that the Ogdoad entry does not support. The q/k swap is one of the commonest in nineteenth-century transliteration, and it kept her in the unresearched residue while a full entry on the same goddess sat a few files away.

Note what Budge says about the word itself: "the common meaning of the word kerh is 'night'" — so the name is a common noun before it is a goddess, and the pair Kerh/Kerhet are Darkness and Darkness-feminine. See the epithet trap.
