Ahti
not an Egyptian deity (out-of-scope-pantheon)
Why this entry exists
The census carries this name, and the census is a list of Egyptian deities. This is a deity of the Finnish pantheon, not the Egyptian one.
"Ahti is a water god in Finnish mythology. In the Kalevala…" — a genuine deity, of the wrong continent.
How it got here
The census was built by taking an aggregate list of deity names and following each to its Wikipedia article. Where a name is ambiguous, that resolution lands silently on the wrong page, and the pipeline records the result as though it described a god.
The corpus already tracked these as a mislinked tier. Auditing that tier (finding C178) showed it conflates three different failures, which need different handling:
| Failure | Treatment |
|---|---|
| the article is not about a deity at all | ⚠ audit, census-mislink — this page |
| a real deity of a pantheon with no Egyptian presence | ⚠ audit, out-of-scope-pantheon |
| a deity of an adjacent culture genuinely entangled with Egypt | stays in the research queue |
Kept rather than deleted so the roster stays complete and the error stays visible.
The record
Nothing. That is the finding.

Open questions
- Determine whether the underlying aggregate list held a genuine Egyptian name here that the link-resolution step lost, or whether the name was spurious from the start. Only the second means it should go.
